Purple lovegrass (Eragrostis spectabilis) Plants
Purple lovegrass (Eragrostis spectabilis) Plants
This thrives in the difficult places, it handles the toughest environments while still looking fantastic. Plant along roadsides, parking lots, hellstrips and in areas of bare, dry soil. Late summer blue-green tufts topped with billowy, purple-pink blooms are particularly attractive when planting in masses. This plant looks particularly spectacular when covered in early morning dew.
When planted in richer soils this grass can be outcompeted by more aggressive species.
