About Our Seeds
Wild Seed Project seeds are ethically sourced, hand-collected, cleaned and packaged by staff and trained volunteers in Maine. Seeds are collected from Wild Seed Project’s Native Seed Center, as well as gardens and private lands with owner permission throughout the state. Plants are organically grown without the use of harmful pesticides. We carry over 90 species of wild-type and open-pollinated wildflowers, ferns, grasses, and shrubs for a variety of growing conditions. Unless otherwise noted, each seed packet contains 50 - 100 seeds.
Seeds are collected and cleaned from September through December. Out-of-stock species will be replenished throughout the harvesting season.
SHIPPING
During our busiest season (October-January), orders may take up to 6 weeks to ship. Our tiny team is grateful for your patience!
