Wild leek (Allium tricoccum) Seeds
$ 6.00
In early spring, low, wide bright green strap-like leaves appear for a month then fade to yellow and disappear – a true spring ephemeral. In mid-summer, white globe-shaped flowers bloom for several weeks and support woodland pollinating insects. A beloved edible plant that is being over-harvested in the wild. Seeds are slow to germinate and grow, but this plant needs more people propagating it to take pressure off the wild populations.
