This tree species has large showy clusters of fragrant, white - yellowish flowers that are extremely attractive to pollinators including hummingbirds. Large palmate leaves with a nice yellow/orange fall color.
This member of the horse chestnut family produces a large nut encased in a spiky husk, but unlike some of its cousins is not edible.
