This shade-loving plant makes an excellent addition to your native woodland garden with its distinctive yellow, bell-shaped flowers and pendant leaves. Growing in dense clumps, it attracts a wide variety of bees that feed from its nectar. Just watch out, deer love to graze on bellwort! 

Native to: East Coast and south to Georgia, west to Minnesota

Growing conditions: Moist, humus-rich soils. Shade to partial-shade.

Natural habitat: Deciduous forests
