Greenbrier (smilax rotindiflora) Plants
A prickly, woody vine, greenbrier can create dense thickets with climbing tendrils providing protective cover for birds and small animals. With dainty white flowers, and dark blue berries, this vine provides food deep into the winter for wildlife. Young greenbrier shoots can be cooked just like asparagus!
