Fireweed (Chamerion angustifolium) Seeds
Fireweed (Chamerion angustifolium) Seeds
A fast-growing perennial with magenta blossoms in mid-summer. Plants expand from the root system to colonize open ground. Great for filling in disturbed areas after removing invasive species along roadsides, in meadows, or in sunny, moist woodland edges. Too aggressive for most garden situations. Highly valued by pollinators for nectar and as a host plant for butterflies and moths.
