In mid-summer, tall white flower spikes burst into bloom and are covered with pollinating insects. Attractive whorled foliage makes this a stately plant.

These seeds do not need a winter or cold period to germinate. Seeds do need light to germinate. Sow these seeds on the soil surface and leave uncovered, outdoors in pots from November through April. A great species for beginner seed-sowers.
