Dramatic summer blooming wildflower is covered with dusty pink flat-topped flower clusters relished by butterflies and bees. Seeds provide late season food for songbirds. An excellent garden plant as well as for naturalizing in wet areas and rain gardens.

Natural habitat: Sunny wetlands — streamsides, pond edges, roadside ditches, and wet meadows.
