With its beautiful pale green foliage and flattened nodding seed heads in late summer, this clump-forming grass is a great addition to a garden or informal landscape. Dried seed stalks make beautiful winter arrangements. Will self-seed vigorously in a garden so harvest the seeds if that is not desired. Looks very handsome in a large pot. Host plant for skipper butterflies. Deer-resistant.
