Wisterias - American wisteria (Wisteria frutescens) Plants

American wisteria feature fragrant, lilac-purple, pea-shaped flowers arranged in pendant racemes up to 6 inches long. These blooms appear in spring, emerging after leafing begins but prior to full leaf expansion. Limited additional summer bloom may occur. An excellent vine for freestanding arbors, pergolas, posts, trellises, fences or terrace walls.
